Everyday, in wartime, our servicemen and women sacrificed their lives for our freedom.
On Memorial Day, let us honor that sacrifice
with wreaths at every Memorial site in our area.
Your $5 contribution will enable the Enoch Crosby Chapter, NSDAR to purchase wreaths for community wreath laying ceremonies in Putnam, Westchester and Dutchess Counties. Those wreaths, costing approximately $90 a piece, are an important symbol of our dedication to Americans who gave their lives for our country.
For every contribution that is made, a red ribbon will be created with the donor’s name or the name of a Veteran written in beautiful caligraphied silver script. The ribbons, attached to the outer circle of the wreaths, will be our way of personalizing each donation.
In addition, Ribbons may be purchased in memory of those who served our country. Those names will be placed on white ribbons in blue script to signify their passing.
Let’s work together to show Putnam County how much our Community loves and cherishes those who have fallen for our freedoms by supporting this effort.
